When you’re with your toddler, talk about what you’re doing. Narrating what you’re doing helps give your child exposure to vocabulary.
Make sure you don’t ask too many questions, and if you find that your toddler is struggling with the open ended questions that you do ask, help them out by giving them a choice of answers.
