DESCRIPTION:Two New Zealand trained Speech Language Therapists and teachers\, have combined to present a day workshop for teachers of children 3-6 years in Nelson\, 9th March 2017 around speech and language and linking it in to literacy. Oral language competency is the foundation on which literacy is developed and sadly in our country there are many children arriving at school without this developed to a level that it will support formal literacy learning.\nJoin Annette and Karena (AS+KS) for an in depth day looking at this issue and gaining knowledge to better assist this cohort of children in classrooms- both pre and primary.\n\nFlyer and registration here >>
